Appleseed Project is coming!

Sept. 11 and 12, 2010 at Fiebig Range
Alliance, Nebraska

The Appleseed Project is sponsored by the (RWVA) Revoluntionary War Veterans Association. "Appleseeds" are weekend-long events held all over the nation to teach the American tradition of rifle marksmanship.

Saturday: various key tools of marksmanship--the Six Steps of Firing the Shot, the position Steady Hold Factors, NPOA, Talking Targets, IMC--everything you need to know, in order to shoot well with a rifle.

Sunday: polish what was learned Saturday. Goal is to take the "100-yard shooters" of Saturday morning and turn them into "300-yard shooters" by Sunday afternoon.

The Appleseed shoot uses a 25 meter range for the most part. All the targets used at 25 meters are scaled down to represent 100, 200, 300 and 400 meter targets. Only room for 40 shooters on the line.

2010 Stalingrad Match held
January 30 at Hoffland Range

Stalingrad 2010 was a big success! Best turnout ever for a Military Match. The weather was outstanding and so was the shooting. There were 39 shooters from Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota and Nebraska.

Check the Home Page and go to the Stanlingrad scores for the results.

Message from the President
January 23 Annual Meeting

Dues?

It was decided at the ARC Annual Meeting not to raise the dues. Instead we are asking members to voluntarily contribute additional funds to be set aside for construction of an indoor range. Any amount you can spare will be appreciated. A good time to do this is when you pay your dues at the February 13 and 14 Gun Show.
