The annual meeting of the Alliance Rifle Club was called to order by President Guy Hielscher at 7:00 pm on Jan 24, 2009. The Pledge of Alligiance was given. There were 34 members present.

The minutes of the previous annual meeting were read and approved.

The Treasurers report was read and approved.

Board of Trustees report was given, with a recommendation that all match directors use a remittance form to submit match fees to treasurer. Passed

Grant Committee Report we did get another FNRA grant this year, with news from NE Game & Parks that there will be no further grants until after 2010.

Election of Officers - Pres - Guy Hielscher, V Pres- Jack Mattox, Secy - Vickie Hielscher, Treas - Bob Engelhaupt, XO - Royce Brown, Bd of Trustees added Bob Jensen

All directors present gave reports, adding Hunter Safety Vaughn Lyons director

Membership voted, after discussion to leave dues at $60.00 annual.

Fiebig Range - dirt work will be done this spring, Steve Miles inquired about adding a trap & skeet range, makes sense to do it now before all work is done, membership was against and Steve withdrew recommendation

Airport Range - will loose it this spring. Currently no shooting on the outdoor range. Need to get the box car moved soon.

Hoffland - complaints on hunting - we do not allow hunting on any of the ranges. Also need to use the flags when shooting - ALWAYS. No shooting prior to 8 am. Jim B will visit with new neighbors about 4 matches when that may happen.

Discussion on the Friends of NRA Banquet, Guy wants someone else to take it over, he has too many irons in the fire to do it justice, but it does bring in money for the club. No takers at this point.

As we have done for several years now at the annual meeting, three people's names were drawn from those attending the meeting for free membership for this year. The three lucky winners are: Harly Walth, Tim Beals, Wayne Davis
