Minutes of March 2 meeting read and approved

Treasurer's report read and approved Expenditures were mostly for gun show advertising. Insurance and taxes were also paid. Read and approved. Bob stated that we have to pay taxes on the grant money if it is not spent. Does not feel this year will be a problem as we will spend a lot of money on construction etc.

New Business

a. Guy said that he received a letter from Larry Miller regarding taxes on the property at the Airport Range, and we have not been taxed previously. He spoke to the person in charge and she stated that we are nonprofit and she felt that we should not be taxed.

b. Request from a member - he paid his dues. He has wanted a key to Hoffland Range. Discussion was such that we have policies in place about the Hoffland keys.Steve Miles brought up that maybe we could have a loaner key for people to go to hoffland and after a safety briefing with a match director at the range. Guy would have the loaner key and know who has it. Thoughts were that we do not want to have those keys all over. The issue was tabled and will be discussed at the next board meeting. At this time Glen will let Bruce know that someone would be glad to go out with him.

c. Bob to pay CMP w/credit card - we will reimburse his payment. He will do the report via Internet and his payment. Bob Jensen moved, Vickie seconded. passed

d. Bob mentioned that Peggy is working on grant money from the Tourism. She will wait until June and try to get more then for advertising.

Old Business

Rail Car

A member approached Guy about the rail car again, wants to pay the club $100 and will have it moved by the middle of June. Tabled until next meeting.

Dirt Work

Guy talked to Ken Woods he is behind in concrete work. As soon as that is caught up he will begin the dirt work.
