Indoor Range at the Airport

Indoor range at the Airport. This was designed for .22 rifles and pistols. It may also be used for centerfire handguns, but only with mild TARGET LOADS. It is absolutely prohibited to use full metal jacketed and-or hot handgun loads and centerfire rifles indoors. They will ruin the backstop and the traps. Club members have spent a lot of money and a lot of labor building the backstop and traps. Don’t ruin them with careless shooting.

The Outdoor Airport Range is CLOSED. Shooting will only occur with supervision by a Rifle Club Director or Officer or at an Alliance Rifle Club scheduled match. All trespassers will be prosecuted.

Hoffland Range

Hoffland Range is an outdoor shooting range located about 10 miles east of Alliance on Highway 2. This range is for use for organized Club matches. It is a closed range and is to be used only on designated practice days or with the knowledge of one of the Officers or Directors of Alliance Rifle Club.

KEY: If a member of the Club wishes to use the range for practice, they MUST get a key from an Officer or Director. Range is for the use of ARC members only. A member of the Club must accompany non-members. Only members of the Board of Directors or approved members are to have keys to Hoffland.

GATE: Club members and shooters on the range are to use the Club Gate. Do not use the private gate east of our gate. Be sure gate is closed at all times except when Club matches are in progress.

PRACTICE DAYS: The Club will arrange and announce some Practice Days when the range will be open for practice and sighting in. It will be supervised by at least one member of the Board.

RANGE FLAG: The orange shooting flag MUST be put in the flag holder at the top of the hill on the south end of the range ANY TIME the range is open for shooting of any kind. Anyone using the range must put the flag up before shooting. Bring flag in when finished.

CATTLE AND COWBOYS: Watch for cattle and cowboys in pastures adjacent to our range. Cease fire until they are clear.

Fiebig Range

Opened July 2007 for the use of ARC members and their guests. Follow the General Range Rules. No 4-wheel, dirt bikes, motorcycles or vehicles beyond the target butts/berms.
