Building The Glen Fiebig Range.

When the outdoor ranges at the Alliance Rifle Club Airport Range
were closed for shooting Dec. 13, 2006, the Club decided to build a new
outdoor shooting range.

May 25, 2007 the Club purchased 27.44 acres of
land about eight miles east of Alliance.

The new range is located on the south side of Highway 2. Alliance Rifle
Club’s Hoffland Range, a 1000 yd. shooting range opened in 1985, is about
two miles east of this location.

The new range is named the Glen Fiebig Range to honor Glen Fiebig
for his many years of service and contributions to the Alliance Rifle Club.

It is designed and built for the members to have a place to
practice, sight in and be able to shoot up to 200 yds. It will also be available
for club matches or other club activities.

During July 2007 the range
was opened for the use of members and their guests.
